How could global famine and lack of life saving resources be improved?

If you look at the earth and it's ability to harbor life, you will see that humans crossed that threshold a long time ago. The truth is, the earth does not have the ability to provide for 7 billion people. If you look at the effect humans have had on the parts of earth that is human, you will see that it is not just humans that are dieing daily, there are millions of species who's population's are dropping at ridiculously fast rates. In my opinion, the earth is going through a mass extinction like it did in the day of the dinosaurs. I do not think that all humans will die, but I think most of them will. The only survivors will be the ones with enough money to keep them and their families alive. The best hope we have for the future is to learn from our mistakes. We need to understand as a species with 7 billion people, we need to be very careful about the decisions that we make and the effect that they have on our planet and on ourselves.

How to overcome my sickness?

two days ago I woke up to go to school and my throat was dry and it was hard to talk then a few minutes later my throat was sore and filled with a lot of flem. the next day the same thing happened like yesterday, but I also had a stuffy nose and couldn't breathe and I sneezed and coughed. but I still went to school, but I don't know why I went because I felt really tired and my nose was runny. Today I was going to try and go to school, but I am extremely tired and my chest hurts when I sneeze or cough, I can't talk, and I have a headache. how can I overcome this horrible sickness!?!

I am 13 and at 1500 metres I got approximately 5:00 so at 3000m I would probably get a little more than ten minutes. I am a city finalist and I have a race after the summer so i need a good training schedule to get 9:00 on 3000m. If 9:00 is unachievable then one that brings me to 9:30 is acceptable. I am not a very fast sprinter so maybe sprinting could be important.
