Fever and fatigue followed by severe plugged nose.?

Well last wendsday I worked in the morning right by the ocean and by mid day is started to rain and got pretty windy and chilly and I worked for about a hour and on the way home I noticed I was getting a fever so i went home and went to bed early cause I was so tired well in the middle of the night I woke up with a fever and extreme body fatigue..felt like I couldnt get comfy just stretching and just not comfy at all...and no energy in my muscles. Thursday I was fatigued all day but by Friday it was gone. Now I have a really stuffed up nose with yellow snot when I blow it..not all the time but sometimes. Also whenever I cough I get a pain on my left side of my body between my lower ribs and my waste line feels like a bruise or something? Also had severe gas in the past couple of days. My cough isn't that bad but sometimes when I cough the flem taste horrible!! Like a puss taste and "I do smoke" but this is a diffrent taste, it taste really gross tasting and it has little tiny chuncks of yellow sometimes..also my food taste weird like I can taste it but it taste diffrent. I'm going to the Er in about a hour casue I can't take the plugged up nose anymore. Just wondering if you guys had any ideas of what it might be? Just want to add Im not stupid I know go to the docotrs and I am in about a hour.
